Rohan Shravan is rewriting the playbook for electric trucks in India. As the founder of Tresa Motors, he set out to build a next-gen commercial EV company from the ground up, with no shortcuts and no outsourcing. Under his leadership, Tresa engineered its own axial-flux motors, modular battery systems, and even LIDAR-enabled control units, tailored specifically for Indian roads and conditions.
An IIT Kharagpur alum, Rohan brought the rigour of hardcore engineering into every detail of product design and testing. His team built rigs to simulate 20-ton loads and real-world pothole chaos, clocking 120 km/h without a gearbox, running purely on their own systems.
He recently transitioned from daily operations, but his imprint is unmistakably, an IP-driven, quality-obsessed EV company that refuses to settle for anything less than world-class.
