Dr. Sudhir Mehta stands at the crossroads of legacy manufacturing and the EV future. As Chairman of Pinnacle Industries, he helped shape India’s auto components sector. Then he shifted gears, founding EKA Mobility, India’s first homegrown electric bus and commercial EV manufacturer.

Under his leadership, EKA rolled out India’s first domestically designed and produced e-bus in 2022. From Pune to Delhi to Nagpur, his vision is now literally on the road. With plans for 11 e-vehicle platforms and big moves in private and public transport, he’s positioning EKA as a serious player in the mobility game.

An alumnus of DePauw University and the University of Chicago, Dr. Mehta brings a sharp blend of global insight and grounded execution. He’s served as President of both MCCIA and CII’s Western Region, while also being a respected voice in policy and sustainability circles.
