Uday Narang is the visionary behind Omega Seiki Mobility, the EV startup redefining clean commercial transport across Asia. With a global background in finance and energy trading, he shifted focus to electric vehicle manufacturing in 2018, founding OSM to deliver low-cost, high-quality electric trucks and logistics solutions.
Under his leadership, OSM was the first in India to launch a 7-ton electric truck with a 150–160 km range on a 15-minute fast charge, making long-haul EV operations practical. He’s built R&D centers in India, Bangladesh, and Europe, and set up multi-ton manufacturing facilities in Faridabad, Pune, and Chennai.
Uday blends speed with strategy, rolling out new vehicle models rapidly while backing them with smart engineering and in-house hardware expertise from his industrial group. His ambition isn’t limited to India; he’s scaling across Asia, Africa, and Latin America with a mindset of global collaboration and local execution.
This is the story of the finance maverick turned industrial futurist, but his aim is bigger than one company. He’s building infrastructure, technology, and scale that challenge assumptions about what made-in-India mobility can accomplish.
